Description

Ribbit Network is a non-profit organization that is working to create the largest dataset of carbon sensors in the country. My role is to help develop a v4 carbon sensor for them to implement around campus so that they are able to track carbon emissions around university campus'. The sensor I am developing uses FDM printed materials, electronic sensors, and a backend software app to track the carbon emissions in a given area. Im working to create a better hanging mechanism, as well as lowering manufacturing time for a singular sensor, as well as finding any other improvements to make the sensor better. My goal is to make the product in the shape of a Stevenson Screen in order to lower material used, and have more vents to better detect carbon emissions.
