Description
This project is meant to be an open source robot arm for the Co-Lab where other members of the Duke community can come in and use it for educational purposes. The robot will also come with a robotic glove that is capable of controlling the movements of the robot arm through a Bluetooth connection. The arm and glove will consist of 3D printed parts along with Arduino sensors and stepper motors. The end goal of this project is to create documentation for how the robot was built so that other people can make one for themselves. Another cool idea would be to teach a Roots class about the steps involved in making a robot arm and give people the resources they need to start on their own.
