This project will allow Duke students to upload a 3D file (STL, .gcode, etc.) to a server, which will send it into a print queue of print jobs and to a 3D printer connected to Duke's network. This will allow for a faster, expedited user experience.

Project Updates
Project Notebook: 3d E-Print
Abhishek has received the hardware equipment and is beginning to create some system where the GPiO pins can be interfaced with the Raspberry Pi that hosts OctoPrint. This is one of the most critical components of the project as communicating to the Raspberry Pi that the printer is available is needed to add in a printer back into a list of available 3D printers. Database design is also coming along; barebones functionality should be expected in two weeks.
