Co-Lab InstallFest

The Co-Lab will host office hours to help answer questions and troubleshoot issues for students in technical classes who need help getting their computers or environments set up.   

  • Dates: Tuesday 8/27 through Thursday 8/29
  • Time: 10am - 6pm
  • Location: TEC Conference Room
  • Get help with: local or cloud environments, including Python, Anaconda, PyTorch, Git, Terminal, Text Editors, VCM, Jupyter notebooks, and more.

To get the most out of this event, before coming to Installfest please:

  1. Try installing software / setting up your computer environments on you own following any instructions provided by instructors
  2. If possible, check with the TAs if you encounter any issues
  3. Bring your installation instructions, computer, and relevant materials to Installfest for additional hands-on help

    Please feel free to share widely and forward to any classes or other students who may find this resource useful!  

    Beyond these times, students can also get help during our regularly scheduled Office Hours (posted https://colab.duke.edu/office-hours/ shortly). If you have any questions or would like more information, please don't hesitate to reach out.
